The Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education approved the hiring of Charles Blanchard on June 7 as the new principal of Chapel Hill High School.
Blanchard will succeed Sulura Jackson, who will serve as the construction liaison for the building and renovation of Chapel Hill High School.

Hunt High School, Southeast Guilford High School, Early College at Guilford, and Fuquay-Varina Middle School.
Blanchard currently works for Guilford County Schools as the executive director of Career and Technical Education. He earned his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Educational Administration at East Carolina University.
